What goes in

• 2 ozWhite or gold rumAny of: White rum, Gold / aged rum
• 1 ozLimes / lime juice
• ¾ ozSimple syrup or sugarAny of: Simple syrup, Sugar / sugar cubes
• 8Mint leavesFresh mint
• TopClub soda / Topo Chico

How to make it

1. Gently press the mint with syrup and lime. Bruise it, don't shred it.
2. Add rum and pack the glass with crushed ice.
3. Top with soda and stir up from the bottom.
