What goes in

• 2 ozRye whiskey
• ¼ ozSimple syrup or sugarAny of: Simple syrup, Sugar / sugar cubes
• 3 dashesPeychaud's bitters
• RinseAbsinthe

How to make it

1. Rinse a chilled glass with absinthe and dump it.
2. Stir rye, syrup and bitters with ice and strain in, no ice.
3. Express a lemon peel and discard it or drop it in.
